Caren Chinich and Lee Maxwell, both of Florence, were married Sunday, Nov. 8 at Wildberry Farm in Rains. Christy Grey performed the ceremony and the wedding was directed by Vickie Greenan.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Susan and Michael Chinich of Florence. She is a graduate of West Florence High School and Francis Marion University. In December she will graduate with a master’s degree as a nurse practitioner from FMU. She currently is employed as a nurse with the emergency department at McLeod Hospital.
The groom is the son of Cynthia and Ronnie Maxwell of Cheraw. He is a graduate of Chesterfield High School, The Citadel and Northeastern Technical College. He is a nurse at McLeod Behavioral Health in Darlington.
The bride’s attendants were her brother, Chad Chinich of Atlanta, and Philip Slagle of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Caleb Chinich, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer. The groom’s father served as the best man.
Following a wedding trip to Belize, the couple will reside in Florence.
