Cheraw High School celebrated homecoming week with an Oct. 22 parade through downtown Cheraw.

Town and county officials waved from the comfort of vehicles, but members of the Junior ROTC color guard and Marching Braves let their feet hit the street as they marched the parade route.

The Braves (2-7, 2-3) held on to win their homecoming showdown with North Central (3-6, 0-5) by a score of 25-18. Cheraw is set to host Chesterfield (7-2, 4-1) in a cross-county rivalry game this Friday.
