CHESTERFIELD — Founders Federal Credit Union recently made a $1,000 Leadership Club gift to Pee Dee Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Assault.
Founders’ gift supports renovating the historic W. D. Craig House located at 339 N. Page St. in Chesterfield. The buildig houses the coalition’s Chesterfield County Satellite Center.
The purpose of the project is to complete necessary rehabilitation to restore the house to its former quality while making it a welcoming and serviceable facility for the victims of abuse and violence and their families who seek services from staff and volunteers at the center. Services to victims and their families are continuing throughout the renovation project.
The Pee Dee Coalition thanked the credit union along with Brian Mickleberry, vice president of Founders’ Chesterfield County offices, for the investment. Founders is co-sponsoring the waiting room upstairs in the center.
“Helping people who need it most is a priority for Founders,” Mickleberry said. “We are honored to be a part of this renovation which will give hope and direction to those in our community who are the victim of domestic violence and abuse.”
