L&L Productions will present the stage play “Getting Pass Ugly” on Saturday at Cheraw’s Theatre on the Green, 200 Market St.

“’Getting Pass Ugly’ is about life challenges and how to overcome these challenges, despite what life has handed down to you,” said L&L Productions owner Lucille Gaddy. “Come and watch how ‘ugly’ is all played out. You will find a host of colorful characters who have their own faults, issues and challenges. You will laugh, get mad and then be moved with tears so come and enjoy a night of entertainment!”

Tickets can be purchased now for $15 each or at the door for $17 each.

Tickets are currently being sold at Praise and Faith Christian Bookstore, located at 920 Chesterfield Highway in Cheraw and at Awesome Touch Hair Salon, located at 121 N. Rutherford St. in Wadesboro, North Carolina.

The production will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, but the doors will open promptly at 6.

L & L Productions was founded in 2009 by Gaddy, an entrepreneur who has written, produced as well as directed several plays and skits over the past two decades including “The Hard Times Unemployment Offices” and “My Son Johnny.” Gaddy was featured on “The Paul Brown Show” in May and was given the opportunity to discuss her vision as well as her accomplishments as a writer, producer and director.
