PAGELAND — Sheriff’s deputies and family members are still seeking the public’s help to find a missing Chesterfield County man.

Thomas Shelton Sr had not been located as of Tuesday afternoon, Lt. Daniel Scott said.

Shelton, 60, last spoke with his son Thomas Shelton Jr. on Dec. 4. He has not been seen or heard from since. Chesterfield County deputies now consider him missing and endangered.

Shelton suffers from asthma and has Stage 4 cancer, according to the sheriff’s office. He doesn’t have his medications for either illness with him.

He is described as a white man who is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 194 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

His son initiated his own search party last Saturday but was not successful in finding his father or any leads.

Anyone who sees Shelton or has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office at 843-623-2101.
