Family movie series opens June 16

The Cheraw Arts Commission presents family movies this summer starting with “Paddington” on Tuesday, June 16 at the Theatre on the Green.

This family film tells the story of a Peruvian bear named Paddington as he makes his way to the big city, where he quickly gets lost until being taken in by the benevolent Brown family. Meanwhile, as the curious cub settles into his new life of domestic bliss, a museum taxidermist has other plans for Paddington.

The movie has a PG rating and will run about 95 minutes. The movie starts at 6:30 p.m., and admission is $2 per person.
