4 honored for perfect attendance

CHESTERFIELD — Four local students have completed grades 1-6 without any absences, Chesterfield County School District attendance coordinator Laurie Tarleton said.

Cyrus Tyate Ingram and Tony Wayne Pegues of Long Middle and Migul Jaquon Funderburk and Jacquel Mikevous Funderburk of New Heights Middle School achieved the perfect attendance milestone this year. These four students received a trophy and $25 gift card from Walmart.

District-wide, 710 students had perfect attendance for the 2014-15 school year. These students were recognized with Chesterfield County School District certificates.
