Dance classes begin July 6 at rec center

Contributed photo The KFA Dance Company’s Cheraw team brought home third-place honors in a regional competition for its jazz dance routine, “Annie Medley.”

The KFA Dance Company will be having competition classes for its Cheraw team at the recreation center the week of July 6-9.

Classes are required in order to audition for this award-winning team. The Cheraw team competed this year bringing home top awards including third place overall for its jazz dance “Annie Medley” and first place overall for its tap routine “Stupid Cupid.”

KFA dancers will be competing at the DTI Nationals in Savannah, Georgia, in July.

Classes are also offered in every dance form for every age the week of July 6 beginning at 1 p.m. Call the the Cheraw Rec Center to register.
