Learn to paint Cinderella’s slipper

The Cheraw Arts Commission is offering a glass slipper painting class on Monday, Aug. 10 at the Cheraw Community Center. The afternoon class from 4-5 p.m. will be taught by Jenny Altman of Artbug Studios.

Participants ages 4 and up will paint a glass slipper on an 8-by-10-inch canvas board. These artistic creations will be displayed at the Cinderella movie the evening of Aug. 11 at the Theatre on the Green. Four-year-olds should be accompanied by an adult or teenager during the class.

Registration fee for the painting class is $12 with all supplies provided. Participants will need to pre-register at the Cheraw Community Center by Aug. 7. Contact the Cheraw Arts Commission at 843-537-8420, extension 12 for additional information.

The Cheraw Arts Commission is supported by the S.C. Arts Commission, which receives funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
