Social workers are seeking a family to adopt Skyler, who they describe as a well-mannered, respectful young man.

Skyler enjoys being active and would like a family who enjoys adventure and making new discoveries. He has really enjoyed being a Boy Scout this year, especially because of the camping component, as he loves the outdoors.

He is currently doing very well academically; he likes pretty much every subject and enjoys learning.

Skyler does not seem to ever meet a food he does not like, and he would like to learn how to cook. He is looking for a family who spends time together and is willing to give him some individual attention. Skyler needs a consistent, caring, compassionate, strong and open-minded family to call his own.

For information on adopting Skyler, contact Heather Boyles of the S.C. Department of Social Services’ Division of Adoptions at heather.boyles@dss.sc.gov or call the Region II Division of Adoption Services office in Columbia at 888-711-7095.
