Hospice of Chesterfield County and Team Chesterfield’s Art Commission recently co-sponsored a Christmas card contest. The winning cards will be reproduced as Christmas cards for Hospice of Chesterfield County and all entries will be on display in the Chesterfield Visitors Center during the Chesterfield Christmas Open House.

The first-place winner in each age division received $50, second place received $25, and third place received $15.

Landon Pope of Edwards Elementary took first place in the kindergarten to second grade category. Second place in the same category went to Jazzmyn Blue of McBee Elementary, and third to Kady Hunt of Edwards Elementary.

In the third through fifth grade category, Kessler Cutchin of Edwards Elementary won first place. Kierra Shantell Bristow of McBee Elementary took second place and Kaylee Blair of McBee Elementary took third.

Brook Roberts of McBee Elementary was the first place winner in the sixth through eighth grade category. Graham Newsome of McBee Elementary took second place in that category and Savannah Herrington of McBee High School took third.

In the ninth through 12th-grade category Courtney Huggins of McBee High took first place. Johanna Johnson of McBee High won second place in the same category and Katie Kissiah of McBee High won third place.

The first-place winner for the adult category was Polly Skipper of Chesterfield. Betty Watts of Pageland took second place, and third went to Peggy Heath, also of Pageland.
