To the editor:

Hospice of Chesterfield County’s staff and volunteers were not only caregivers, they became a part of our family. They went above and beyond to take care of our loved one, Scott Jacobs. He enjoyed every visit, call or special event that involved any Hospice worker.

His favorite time of year was when the Hospice workers would come around singing Christmas carols. His face would always light up no matter how he felt that day.

As a family member of a Hospice patient, I can truly say the Hospice caregivers are a godsend and our loved one was always taken care of with not only the best care, but out of love.

Thank you is simply not enough for how grateful we have been for Hospice of Chesterfield County from the beginning to the end. They will always hold a special place in our hearts.

With love,

Mallory Smith and family
