To the editor:

We have been commissioned by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to come together in prayer once again through a prayer crusade to pray for ourselves, families, mothers, women, children, spouses, clergies and leaders.

This crusade will allow us to move from church to church, from city to city, from county to county, from community to community, from state to state, country to country and house to house if necessary, throughout these lands in the world. You can let us know if you would like for us to meet at your church or area by calling 843-537-9567. We began meeting each Saturday in the month of May and meet one Saturday each month thereafter.

Our starting grounds is Faith and Healing Christian Center, 127 Ivey Lane, Cheraw. That’s at the corner of Daisy and Ivey lanes in the Fisher Hill community. Our prayer vigil continues at 6 p.m. this Saturday, July 18 at Faith and Healing Christian Center and will be held the third Saturday of each month at the same time.

This mission or task is too large for you and too large for me, it is too large for your congregation and it is too large for our congregation. Therefore, the Spirit of the Lord has commissioned the Christians to come together for ourselves, our families and our communities to pray for sicknesses and diseases, our homes, our schools, our leaders, our clergies; to pray for young souls, young children, to pray for souls that are lost, to pray for crimes to cease, to pray for the ceasing of unnecessary death of men, women, boys and girls and to pray that God keeps us strong during natural disasters with restoration for those who are going through them and to pray that our prayers be manifested in our lives.

Phillippians 4:6-7 says, “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God; and the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Pastors, please encourage everyone in your congregation and community to come together to accomplish this very highly needed prayer crusade mission to activate the power of prayer in our lives for seen and unseen dangerous situations and for our prayers to reach throughout our minds, souls, hearts, homes, churches, communities, cities, counties, states, countries, nations, lands and this world in which we live.

Jesus is Lord!
