Chesterfield County Economic Development Board Vice Chair, Tommy Sellers, recognized Janet Caulder Feb. 19, for nearly ten years of service with the organization. He commended her dedication to “improving the economic future of Chesterfield County.”

According to Sellers, “Mrs. Caulder embodied leadership and unity, a clear logical approach, attention to detail, and great counsel and encouragement to the Executive Director and Board. Her accounting and business background added the special lens needed to review the County Economic Development budget keeping the Board on the right track. Mrs. Caulder kept the Board and staff motivated and focused, even in the face of obstacles. It is admirable that she legislated by her convictions. It is especially commendable that she consistently voted for initiatives that held promise for a greater return on investment for the County as a whole over singular interests.”

Brenda Workman, Executive Director of the County Economic Development Board noted, “We are proud and fortunate to have had the benefit of Mrs. Caulder’s service and leadership. She will be missed.”
