George W. Long Memorial Presbyterian Church will have Family and Friends Celebration on May 29 beginning at 11 a.m. You are asked to wear your favorite hat (dress or casual) for a short program and a hat parade, followed by a light luncheon and tea. The guest speaker will be Rev. Dr. Ella Busby, pastor of Goodwill Presbyterian Church, Sumter. On May 30, at 11 a.m. Rev. Albert Middleton of Charleston will give an inspirational sermon. A meal will be served after. At 4 p.m. The Hillian Sisters will be in concert. The public is invited to attend.

Hopewell Baptist Church will have David Little, Lakelands Associate Director of Missions for the 11 a.m. morning speaker and Mitchel Gulledge as the 6 p.m. evening speaker.
June 4
BBQ will be sold at Free Worship, located 915 Chesterfield Hwy, 11 a.m. to 6 pm. Plates are $6. Eat in or take out. Yard sale will be held June 5. All day.
June 7-11
Pleasant Hill Baptist Church will have their Vacation Bible School for kindergarten through youth, 6-8 p.m. nightly. The theme for this year’s VBS is “Saddle Ridge Ranch”. Pleasant Hill is located at the intersection of Teals Mill and Wire 1 Roads about seven miles south of Cheraw.

Faith Fellowship Church in Wallace will host a singing at 7 pm. Guest singers will be The River Town Boys from Conway.
June 19
The Spiritual Holy Heirs of Florence, Sweet Home Choir of Ruby, Davidson Grove of Chesterfield, The Harmonettes of Pageland, The Gospel Tabernacle Choir and many others will be at Gospel Tabernacle Church at 6 p.m. located at 549 Deaton Street, Ruby.
