Bertha Hamersmill of Myrtle Beach and John Andrew Huntley of Chesterfield announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Putersmith. She received her Bachelors of Communications from Florida University of Common Knowledge and is currently employed at the Cheraw Packing Plant.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thinman Huntley. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Computer Engineering and is currently employed at Cheraw Scrap Metal.
A 2 p.m. wedding is planned for Feb. 30, 2013.
