Beginning Jan. 24, the Cheraw Arts Commission will offer a 4-week series of knitting classes for absolute beginners.
Instructor MJ Martin will guide this group of non-knitters from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Cost is $75, which includes materials and instruction. Classes will be held at the Cheraw Community Center in the Burr Gallery. To register, call the Cheraw Arts Commission office at 843-537-8420, ext. 12.
There are also opportunities for knitters who might want to refresh their skills and for persons interested in daytime knitting classes.
