Robin Dowdy, 57, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 19, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel, Chesterfield.
Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park, Bennettsville.
Visitation is from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 19, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Dowdy was born Aug. 20, 1955, in Bennettsville, a son of the late Marvin “Muggs” Dowdy and Jennie La Faye “Faye” Collins Dowdy. He was an electrician with Hanson. Robin enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening.
Survivors include two daughters, Jenny D. (John) Jordan of Mt. Croghan, and Kelly Dowdy of Bennettsville, four grandchildren and three brothers, Bruce Dowdy, Jerry Dowdy, and David (Lynne) Dowdy all of Bennettsville.
Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home of Chesterfield, is serving the family.
