Charles Myers and Miranda Rorie
Mr. Nathaniel Rorie of Wallace, S.C., and Ms. Lela Rorie of Cheraw, announce the engagement of their daughter Miranda Shaunta Rorie to Charles Antwan Myers, son of the late Charles F. Myers and John Lester and Mary Frances Wilson of Ruby, S.C.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Wilson and Gertrude Rorie of Chesterfield, S.C., and the late James and Alice Boan of Cheraw. She is a graduate of Florence-Darlington Technical College and is employed by McLeod Medical Center, Florence, S.C.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Alexander Myers and Azilee Myers of Ruby, and the late Viola Watson of Chesterfield. He is a graduate of Chesterfield High School and is employed at Schaffler USA in Cheraw.
A September wedding is planned.
