Matthew 6:31-34

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Trusting God

What amazing words Jesus spoke in Matthew 6:31-34. Essentially, what Christ is saying to us is, “It is alright my child; don’t worry about tomorrow and don’t worry about your life. I have always been here for you. I will love and keep you safe all of the days of your life but YOU must FIRST, trust in ME.”

If we seek God and put Christ first in our lives, then he will do the rest. One might say, “This will never work for my life. I’ve done too much damage already and I cannot be fixed.” This is not true. This is what the devil wants us to think. At times, we as humans often bring problems upon ourselves if we are not in God’s will. News flash, everyone! No matter what you have been through, what you have done, where you have been, Jesus Christ can make you a new person that will shine, both inside and out. The keyword here is “trust.” Trusting God is the only way to live. Without God’s love and grace, we have nothing. We are nothing and we will never be what the Lord intends for us to be, which is his servant. What is a servant? A servant serves his or her master. Who is the Master? God is the master of all things that are “good and clean”. Satan is the voice of evil and sin.

God forgives our sins, personally. All we have to do is ask. There is none other like our heavenly father. He is the beginning and the end. He is the light in a world of turmoil and darkness. If you truly want eternal peace, then ask Christ Jesus into your life and your heart. You will never regret a single second of knowing God. God will take care of all of our tomorrows and our present.

He is our past, present and future. You cannot go wrong with Jesus Christ.
