The Cheraw Farmers Market will launch its First Annual Appreciation Day Celebration this weekend.

Everyone is invited to come out on Saturday, Sept. 15, from 11 a.m. to noon, 105 Front Street, Cheraw. There will be free food, drinks, prizes, and gifts.

Market organizers extended thanks to “all the people that made this possible” and to all the small farmers that support the market.

Speaking on behalf of the Cheraw Farmers Market participants, Clemson Extension Service, and the City of Cheraw, Grady Sampson, county extension agent, thanked members of the community who frequented the market this summer.

“The Farmers Market is good for the local economy, good for customers, directly benefits our local producers and their family, and is good for Cheraw,” Sampson said.
