An alert sheriff’s deputy busted an apparent mobile meth lab and arrested two men after noticing suspicious behavior while shopping at Walmart.Chesterfield County sheriff’s Cpl. Robert J. White was inside the Walmart Supercenter on S.C. 9 in Cheraw when he noticed another customer, 31-year-old Brandon Lee Sasser of Loris, walking in circles and pacing from one side of the store to the other on Sept. 7, according to a sheriff’s office report.Sasser bought a box of pills from the pharmacy, left the store and returned about five minutes later, White said. After wandering the aisles, he turned up in the store’s outdoors section and selected a bottle of Coleman camp fuel.

 

Deputies catch escaped inmate
