FLORENCE — The Pee Dee Coalition is holding its annual third annual Breaking Free 5K/15K Run on Saturday, Oct. 10 to promote domestic violence awareness.

Registration starts at 8 a.m. and the walk-run starts at 9 a.m. The event will take place at Trinity Presbyterian Church parking lot, 1021 S. Ebenezer Road, Florence.

The event is described as a day of action and awareness in honor of victims and survivors of relationship violence in the community.

The walk-run will feature T-shirts, post-race refreshments, water stations along the route, an awards ceremony and special speakers.

Early registration for the 15K will be open until Saturday, Oct. 3 and the fee is $35. Entry fee will be $40 on race day. The 5K registration will also be open until Oct. 3 and the fee is $25. It will be $30 on race day.
