Palmetto Brick Company has created a simple, easy-to-use estimation calculator to increase the efficiency of brick and mortar needed for projects of all sizes.
According to a press release from the company, the new estimation calculator is configured to handle specific calculations used by architects and building professionals to measure the approximate amount of brick used and mortar required on any project, big or small, with any type of brick size - Modular, Queensize or Oversize.
Because there are several different brick sizes, the estimation calculator will help architects and building professionals project the approximate product amounts needed, so there is little or no material waste. This calculator is available on the Palmetto Brick corporate Web site, www.palmettobrick.com, and will also be distributed to both residential and commercial architects, as well as industry distributors through the company's eNewsletter, Cornerstone.
"Architects and building professionals are under pressure to calculate the products needed for every project that match budget and meet the approximate materials required," Andy Rogers, vice president of sales and marketing, said. "Our goal with this calculator is to make the jobs of these architects and building professionals easier and this the perfect tool. By equipping professionals with this readily available calculator, buildings and communities built from brick are less likely to over or under estimate the approximate materials needed on a job. If a project runs more efficiently, everyone wins including the building or home owner, the general contractor and the architect."
