Elizabeth Odell Teal, 78, of Cheraw, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003.

A graveside funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23 in Zoar United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Born in Chesterfield, Miss Teal was a daughter of the late John Thomas and Bessie Lee Teal. She was retired employee of Bo-Buck Mills and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Surviving are a brother, Thomas E. " Tom" Teal of Cheraw; four sisters-in-law, Ella Teal, Temple Bell Teal and Ethel Teal all of Cheraw, and Virginia Teal of Tennessee; and a number nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by six brothers, Ferris Teal, Leroy Teal, John Robert Teal, Eugene Teal, George Teal and Harvey Teal; and five sisters, Eva Teal, Minnie Bell Teal, Dollie Brock, Eliza Williams and Mattie Lampley.

Arrangements were entrusted to Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.
