Iva Sellers Turner, 82, of Hartsville, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2004.

A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4 from Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Revs. Gary Colboch and Milton G. Frazier officiating. A graveside service was held at 3 p.m. in Anson Memorial Park in Wadesboro, N.C.

Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church Building Fund, 949 North Marquis Highway, Hartsville, S.C. 29550.

Born in Chesterfield County, Mrs. Turner was a daughter of the late Thomas Clyde and Beulah Brown Sellers. She was a longtime member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 60 years, George D. Turner Jr. of Hartsville; two sons, Mitchell Turner and Ronnie Turner of Hartsville; a daughter, Denise Hagy of Anderson; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were entrusted to Norton Funeral Home.
