Mamie Oliver-Sellers of Edward Jones recently won the Commitment to Provide Banking & Trust Services to Clients, Family and Friends award.

Oliver-Sellers works for Larry Haynes, the Edward Jones investment representative in Cheraw.

"(She) is my right arm," Haynes said, "and is not only responsible for the daily operation of our branch, but she also works closely with my clients, helping me provide them with top-notch service."

Oliver-Sellers said she is honored by the recognition. "I enjoy my work helping Larry (Haynes) help people in his community plan for their financial futures, but it gives me an extra boost to receive special recognition for my work."

She also recently attended a regional meeting in Myrtle Beach to exchange work-related ideas with other branch office administrators. The meeting was one of more than 100 held throughout the United States and Canada.

"My job includes such a wide range of responsibilities, that it's always helpful to speak with other branch office administrators and see how they handle their duties," Oliver-Sellers said.

Douglas E. Hill, Edward Jones' managing partner, said, "Branch office administrators are key to the success of our firm. If investment representatives are the bricks that build Edward Jones, then branch office administrators are the mortar that holds those bricks together."
