A funeral service was held at 4 p.m. Friday, July 28, from Ruby Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Ruby Cemetery.

Born in Ruby, Mr. Eddins was a son of the late William R. and Carrie Thurman Eddins, and was the widower of Esther G. Eddins. He was a member of Ruby Baptist Church.
Surviving are a sister, Mary Sue Taylor of Ruby; a nephew, Thomas M. Taylor of Ruby; and a niece, Elizabeth (Michael) Sullivan of Jefferson.
Arrangements were en-trusted to Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.
