RIVERDALE, GA. - Douglas Eric “Bubba” Fleming, 43, formerly of Salisbury, N.C., died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006.

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9 from A.R. Kelsey Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bobby L. Smith officiating.

Mr. Fleming was a son of Baxter and Brenda W. Fleming. He was a 1982 graduate of Salisbury High School and attended Livingstone College. Mr. Fleming was last employed at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church of Atlanta, Ga. He was an active member of the Men's choir and was marketing director for God's Strength Records. Mr. Fleming was a former member of Moore's Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church.

Surviving are his parents; his wife, Doris Fleming; a daughter, DeAndrea E. Fleming; a stepson, Dante Jenkins; three sisters, Beverly F. (Barron) Wilder of Rex, Ga., Adriene Fleming of Hampton, Ga., and Kimberly F. (Willie) Miller of Salisbury; two brothers, Dr. Mark C. Fleming of Wilmington, Del., and Jason R. Fleming of Salisbury; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Arrangements were entrusted to Noble and Kelsey Funeral Home.
