Daniel vs. Buford
Game: The Daniel Lions led comfortably until a late Buford Yellow Jackets rally cut the Lions' 16 point lead to four with under three minutes left in the contest. The Lions were able to withstand Buford's late charge to win 68-51. The Lions' De'Andre Hopkins no-look pass led to a layup and sealed the game for the Lions.

Game: The Central Eagles cut into York's lead several times, but were unable to get any closer than six points. The Eagles fell to York 72-66, marking the Eagles second loss of the season. York's O.B. Love was the difference maker, carrying the scoring load for his team.

Darlington vs. Cheraw
Game: Darlington and Cheraw squared off in a defensive struggle that came down the very end of the game. Cheraw struggled at the free throw line, and free throws ended up being the difference in the end. Darlington's Kiera Douglas hit two free throws to give Darlington a 37-36 win. Cheraw had a chance to tie the game during the last possession, but the ball rimmed out.

Orangeburg-Prep vs. Chesterfield
Game: In the final game of the night, the Chesterfield Rams routed Orangeburg-Prep 69-34. The Rams controlled the game from the opening tip, and the Rams' Demond Booker owned the first half.

Game 1
Central vs. Buford
Game: Coming off of the second loss of the season, the Eagles looked to bounce back the next day. The Yellow Jackets wouldn't make the Eagles' job easy. The Eagles were able to hold on to win 53-49.

Cheraw vs. Orangeburg-Prep
Game: The Braves overcame their one-point loss the previous day to defeat Orangeburg-Prep 62-37. The Braves were led by senior guard Josh Henderson in the victory.

Daniel vs. York
Game: The Lions were able to move past York with a 61-56 win. Both teams played an up-tempo game all night and Daniel was able to come out on top. Behind the leadership of De'Andre Hopkins and six three-pointers by Matthew Steelman, the Lions were able to advance to the championship game.

Darlington vs. Chesterfield
Game: Darlington controlled the first half and went into halftime with a double-digit lead. At the end of the third quarter, Darlington led the Rams 47-34 and the Rams looked like they were out of the game. In the fourth quarter, the Rams battled back with big plays and defense stops to cut the lead to five. The Rams weren't able to closed the gap anymore and Darlington held on for the 62-55 victory.

Game 1
Central vs. Cheraw
Game: Two teams from Region VIII-2A squared off for a preview of things to come this season. The two teams were very physical on both ends of the court and the Eagles prevailed with a 78-64 win over the rival Braves. With the win, the Eagles secured a fifth place finish in the Farm Bureau Insurance Classic, the Braves claimed sixth place.

York vs. Chesterfield
Game: Both teams started the game very slowly on offense. At the end of the first quarter, the score was 14-13 in favor of the Rams. The second quarter proved to be an offensive struggle for both teams. It took nearly five minutes for either team to score and at the end of the quarter, York led 19-16. The second half didn't provide much offense either, and the Rams led the game until late in the fourth. York was able to chip away at the Rams lead and eventually stay on top for a 32-30 win. The Rams held York's leading scorer, O.B. Love, to only 10 points. The win gave York a third place finish in the Farm Bureau Insurance Classic, the Rams would finish fourth.

Game 3
Championship Game
Daniel vs. Darlington
Game: Darlington led most of the first half and dominated Daniel due to their size and strength on the interior. Daniel would not give up though; the second half would belong to the Lions and De'Andre Hopkins. Hopkins took control of the game, finding the open player each time down the court. Hopkins also added baskets of his own when his team called on him to score. Daniel won the contest 68-58 to claim the Farm Bureau Insurance Classic championship, giving Darlington a second place finish.
With his performance in the championship game and throughout the tournament, Hopkins was named tournament most valuable player.
