The Anne B. Crawford Business Career and Technology Education Scholarship was awarded to Paris Broomfield of Cheraw during the annual awards ceremony recently held at Cheraw High School.
Broomfield was a member of the National Honor Society, Student Government Association, International Club and a cheerleader. She will attend USC Beaufort in Beaufort this fall.
The Anne B. Crawford Career and Technology Education Scholarship is awarded annually to a Cheraw High School senior. A perpetual plaque with this year’s award recipient will be placed at the high school.
The scholarship is given annually by Mrs. Crawford’s family. Mrs. Crawford served as department chair and instructor for business and career technology classes at Cheraw High School and taught business classes at Hartsville Senior High School, Hartsville, McBee High School, McBee, and Northeastern Technical College in Cheraw.
