Jonathan Gordon of Chesterfield recently signed a three-year contract with John Casablancas School of Modeling and Acting in Charlotte, N.C.

The agency develops talent and promotes them locally and through an international network of agencies in New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Milan, Tokyo, and many other cities. The agency helped develop the world’s first “Supermodels” and is credited with changing the modeling industry.

When asked what prompted him to choose an early career path to acting, Jonathan said, “I thought being an actor would be fun. I enjoy watching television and each time I see those kids on TV, I’m like, ‘I can do that.’ Then, my parents showed me how much money I could make and I really liked that.”

Jonathan, 9, is the son of John and Jennifer Gordon of Chesterfield and he attends Cheraw Intermediate School.

“I enjoy making people laugh and smile, so it will be cool doing that. If I don’t become a Major League Baseball player, I’ll always be able to act,” he said.

Jonathan began his training last weekend.
