Registration remains open for the 22nd South Carolina Writers’ Workshop at their web site: www.myscww.org/conference. This year’s conference will be held Oct. 19 through Oct. 21, at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach. The faculty will consist of nationally-renowned agents, editors, authors, as well as social media experts, an independent publisher, and industry-related presenters who will present workshops, panels and slush-pile sessions. Faculty appointments may be purchased for pitch sessions and query-letter critiques at the website. Registration closes Oct. 17.

The Petigru Review, SCWW anthology, and the Carrie McCray Memorial Literary Awards will be presented during the Friday Night Awards Dinner. The annual silent auction is open all weekend until 9:15 a.m. on Sunday.
