
Fran Lewis and her second grade class, along with custodian Alexander Sturdivent, stand in the middle of their pumpkin patch at Cheraw Primary School. Lewis and her second graders are in a race with Sturdivent to see who can grow the biggest pumpkin the fastest. The Jack-o-lantern sitting at the front of the pumpkin patch mysteriously appeared two day before Halloween, and the students are still looking for answers as to where it came from.
