CHESTERFIELD — Norman Robinson, 45, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012.

Funeral service was held at 3 p.m., Friday, Oct. 19, at Madison Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Wadesboro, N.C.

Robinson, was born Feb. 23, 1967, to the late James and Beatrice Richardson Robinson in Anson County, North Carolina. He attended Bowman Senior High School in Wadesboro, North Carolina. Norman was employed with Delta Mills, Wallace, South Carolina until he became ill and could no longer work.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Wendy Sowell Robinson; two sons, Dontrell Robinson and Carlos Robinson of the home; a daughter, Nyia Robinson of the home; two grandchildren, Jadeyah and Aveyah; a brother, James (Brenda) Robinson of Morven, NC; three sisters, Francis (Callie) Little of Morven, NC, Leisa Robinson of Charlotte, NC and Sharon (Charles) Baker of Pageland, SC; a special aunt, Dorene Richardson of Morven, NC; a mother-in-law, Mary McCoy of Chesterfield, SC; three brothers-in-law, William Sowell of Chesterfield, SC, Robert (Donna) Sowell of Cheraw, SC and James McCoy of Chesterfield, SC; a sister-in-law, Mary Drake of Phoenix, GA; a dear friend, Marvin Moses of Morven, NC; eight nephews, six nieces and a host of family and friends.

Flemming Funeral Home was in charge.
