Grady Mitchell “Mickey” Oliver, 55, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012.
A funeral service was held Thursday, Dec. 27, at Cross Roads Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation was held Thursday, Dec. 27, prior to the service in the Family Life Center.
Oliver was born June 20, 1957, in Monroe, N.C., a son of Grady H. Oliver and the late Wanda Lee Gulledge Sellers. He was a 1975 graduate of Chesterfield High School. Oliver was a retired welder and boiler maker and was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church.
He was survived by his wife, Paula Boan Oliver of the home, two daughters, Jenny C. (Joshua) McLaughlin of Cheraw and Kimberly S. Carpenter of Darlington, eight grandchildren, father, Grady H. Oliver of Ruby, one brother, Gregroy “Reggie” (Melissa) Oliver of Ruby, one sister, Melissa D. (Charles) Hall of Cheraw.
