The Cheraw Chronicle and Chesterfield Advertiser is your community newspaper. One of the ways we involve ourselves is by running the events and happenings of the community in our weekly calendar. Send us your event listing no later than noon the Monday prior to publication (Thursday) and we will list your event in the newspaper. There is no charge for most event listings. SOUP/HOT DOG DINNER

WHERE: Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church

WHAT: Soup and hot dog dinner sale at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. The menu will include hot dogs, oyster stew, chicken and dumplings, potato soup, vegetable soup, chili desert and drink. The Ministerial Alliance will close out the Lenten series March 24th with a Community Palm Sunday Service at 6 p.m. at Fisher Hill Baptist Church. Rev.
