SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Sara Frances Koontz of Cheraw has made the Dean’s List at Wofford College, according to David S. Wood, senior vice president of academic affairs and dean of Wofford College. She earned a place on the Dean’s List for the Fall 2012 Semester.
To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must be enrolled for at least 12 semester hours of graded courses and attain a semester grade point average of 3.6 or higher.
Wofford College, established in 1854, is an independent liberal arts college of 1,550 students in Spartanburg. Wofford ranks 4th nationally in the percentage of undergraduates receiving credit for study abroad. Wofford is affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
