The following arrests were recently made by the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office:

• Wilmar Henry Schaff, 19, of 108 Brown Springs Church Road, Patrick, was arrested for destruction/damage/vandalism of property.

• Jovanni Jamal McLain, 21, of 1534 Academy Road, Bennettsville, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

• Charles Michael Sullivan, 52, of 209 N. Maxton St., Jefferson, was arrested for criminal domestic violence.

• Charles Hilton Helms, 19, of 448 Salebarn Road, Pageland, was arrested for destruction/damage/vandalism of property, driving under suspension, and alcohol violations - minor consuming.

• George Edward Spernock, 52, of 613 Bailey Sawmill Road, Ruby, was arrested for assault and battery in the third degree.

• Alton Franklin Hudson, 21, of 2643 Gullege Rd., Wadesboro, N.C., was arrested for assault and battery in the third degree.

• Paul Jonas Robinson, 26, of 996 S. Arant St., Pageland, was arrested for disorderly conduct, and two counts of assault on a police officer while resisting arrest.

• Terrence Levon Bowen Sr., 43, of 4565 Brocks Mill Road, Cheraw, was arrested for driving under suspension and improper tag.

• George Walter Krauss, 74, of 152 Longhorn Lane, Cheraw, was arrested for pornography/obscene material.

• Michael Gainey, 42, of 3201 County Line Road, Hartsville, was arrested for assault and battery in the third degree.

Arrest reports published in the Cheraw Chronicle are copied from local law enforcement records. Reports include both arrest and criminal summons such as citations. The Chronicle lists them all as arrests. People charged are presumed innocent until determined to be guilty by a court of law.
