Archie Baxter Crowley, 63, died on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at his home.

Funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 11, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the Cross Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Crowley was born July 22, 1949, in Chesterfield County, a son of the late Baxter and Novella Purvis Crowley. He was a former employee of Galey and Lord with 39 years of service. Crowley was a member and deacon at Windsor Park Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, and gardening. In addition to his parents, Crowley was also preceded in death by his brothers, Dennis and Robert Crowley.

Crowley is survived by his wife, Faye Williams Crowley of the home, one son: Jason (Brandy) Crowley of Patrick, two daughters: Jennifer (Bobby) Davis of Patrick, and Jamie (Jason) Starling of Cheraw, six grandchildren, two sisters: Eva Mae Privette and Cynthia Boan of Cheraw.

Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home of Chesterfield, is serving the family.
