Charles Preston Gulledge, 77, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m.on Friday, Dec. 7, at Cross Roads Baptist Church.

Visitation is from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, prior to the service in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Family Life Center.

Gulledge was born Aug. 26, 1935, in Mt. Croghan, the son of the late James Preston Gulledge and Edna Burgess Gulledge Tucker. He managed and operated The Mustang Stations in Chesterfield and Cheraw, and worked in construction. Gulledge was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and Ruby Masonic Lodge # 314. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ava Grace Gulledge; one son, Ricky Gulledge; and brother, Billy Gulledge.

He is survived by two sons, Randy (Jolynn) Gulledge of Myrtle Beach, and Jamie (Judy) Gulledge of Chesterfield; three grandchildren, one great granddaughter, one sister, Doris (Bobby) Johnson of Ruby.
