New features of Android: All of these6
Google adds new features to Android every year to enhance the user experience as much as possible. This summer we see 6 new functions that will be widely available on almost all Android smartphones. We list them for you.
1. Earthquake warning system
In 2020, Google began developing a method to detect the world’s largest earthquake. Thanks to this system, users of Android smartphones will receive automatic notification before an earthquake hits their location. These important seconds can save lives.
Google recently introduced a warning system in New Zealand and Greece. From June 15, 2021, it will be available in Turkey, the Philippines, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Google will add more countries in the future.
2. Mark important messages in the messaging application
We receive hundreds of messages every day. It’s hard to fish important messages. Now you can star an important message so you don’t have to search unnecessarily after a long time.
3. Find the best emoji sticker at the best time
In May, Google introduced a new “recently used” section on emoji sticker picker so you can easily find the sticker you use most often.
To help you find the right emoji for the right occasion, contextual suggestions will soon appear within this section.
Eco-related emoji stickers are now available Board Beta. This summer, this feature will be widely available for English, Spanish and Portuguese news for smartphones running Android 6.0 and newer.
4. Get voice access to your favorite apps
From now on, ask Google to arrange some things within your many favorite apps. For example, you could say things like “Hey Google, pay my Capital One” or “Hey Google, check my straw miles”. Say “Hey Google, Shortcuts” to see what else you can do.
5. Eye detection during voice control
Thanks to Android’s voice control function, people with disabilities can easily control their smartphone by voice. Thanks to the new eye detection function, voice control only works when the user actually sees the screen. Users can now also enter passwords by voice.
6. Additional customization options for Android Auto
Users can now customize their Android Auto experience in more detail. For example, there is a new dark mode, which can be set manually. Also, you can change the Android Auto Launcher screen directly from your smartphone. Searching for specific content is also made easier.
There are all sorts of new apps available for Android Auto that make driving easier. Think of applications that show the nearest charging point for electric cars. Not important: You can now easily send a WhatsApp via Android Auto.
