Football discussion. KV Kortrijk defender Radovanovic banned for three matches – Waasland-Beveren wins RWDM Championship | Women’s football

Radovanovic (KV Kortrijk) was punished severely on appeal for a red card

The Royal Belgian Football Association (KBVB) Disciplinary Board on Friday appealed a three-day suspension of matches (two of which is valid) and a fine of 2,500 euros for KV Kortrijk defender Aleksandar Radovanovic.

After rioting with OHL player Ngawa in injury time for OHL-Kortrijk (2-1), Radovanovic was briefly upset. The defender of Kortrijk sold his opponent a powerful thrust at the height of the neck, after which referee Smet immediately drew a red card. The Federal Prosecutor’s Office wanted Radovanovic to be suspended for two days, and that motion was ratified in the first place on Tuesday.

However, KV Kortrijk again withdrew her defense and filed an appeal. According to Guys, the punishment was disproportionate to the violation. According to the club, there were extenuating circumstances: Radovanovic responded to Nagawa’s provocations, the batch was soft and did not endanger the physical integrity of the OHL player, after which Radovanovic apologized.

KV Kortrijk believes a one-day match suspension should suffice, but the Federal Prosecutor’s Office increased its claim after the club’s appeal. Federal prosecutor Verhagen requested a three-day suspension, one of which was postponed due to Radovanovic’s criminal record. The Disciplinary Board completed the sentence of the Federal Public Prosecution. The Serbian defender will therefore miss the competition matches against AA Gent and regional rival Zulte Waregem.

Surgery should treat arrhythmia in Bayern Coman’s ward

Kingsley Coman had heart surgery yesterday. His coach, Julian Nagelsmann, confirmed that the French international has an irregular heartbeat. Koeman went under the knife yesterday. His heart rhythm was a little choppy due to the extra small beat. At certain moments, Nagelsmann explained, he had shortness of breath.

Koeman (25) has been a regular at Bayern Munich for years. Last season, the Frenchman was good at scoring eight goals and fifteen assists in 39 games. He started this season only once in the starting lineup, winning the Super Cup against Dortmund (1-3). This week he came against Barcelona (0-3) in the Champions League eight minutes from time.

I’m scared boss. Not feeling good.
“I’m glad you put it that way. We’re certainly not afraid, but I often hear people around me say ‘Poland’ in the same way as Kosovo, Albania, and Armenia.”

Seven years ago the score was 1-4.
“I have already shown the group a picture of the stadium where we are playing on Monday.”

Baltic Square. 42000 places.
“I asked them if they remember where we last played. In the county, no Joe, there’s no people. Poland wants to make a move. Lots of people there, Joe, intimidating.”

harassment?
“It’s been since we met about the calendar. The Poles didn’t want to admit anything. In the end there was a tie. We haven’t seen it before. For the first time we are three in the qualifiers. This is new. Norway, Poland and us, the third in the group have nothing “.

What can help your team? What steps have you taken?
“Switzerland overwhelmed at the start of the game. Turn that around and keep winning 4-0. Tough game in Romania and back home 0-1. That wouldn’t have worked a few years ago.”

What did you learn from those matches against better teams? The match started with 1-6 at home against the Netherlands.
“Keep the basics, along with ‘keep it simple.’ Don’t surprise yourself. We’ll be prepared or we’ll get in trouble.”

Will the ambitions remain the same? Top 8 in Europe, the second round in the European Championship and for the first time in the World Cup?
“They’re still the same. Top 8, that’s possible. The European Championship depends on the lottery. Holland are from pot A and Sweden from B, and then you start. Getting to the World Cup is actually the most difficult, because everyone expects it.” (Today)
