De Pauw’s case has attracted a lot of attention in recent days. Yesterday, Bart de Pauw, who was charged with infringing behavior in 2017, told his side of the story for the first time in four years.
This showed that the TV producer was aware that he did not always read the signals from the women who were accusing him. “I always thought everyone was with me. I didn’t realize that I could also imbalance people with that,” the matter sounded in the courtroom. “I can be flammable at times. I can’t help it. But I do fall in love with interesting people.”
“I wanted people to love me for who I am”
“In the past, when I was young, I didn’t have much success with girls,” said emotional Di Bao. I was very shy and did not dare to talk to them. Suddenly she became famous and everything changed. Suddenly you get a lot of attention – also from women – for what you can do, for what you mean, for what you have become. When I found out all of a sudden, I didn’t have to bother anymore. Everyone thinks they know you.”
“But I wanted to be more than just a fun TV personality with people I love,” De Pauw admitted. “And yes, I’d send out song titles and songs. I wanted people to love me for who I am. I know not everyone on the street would believe it, but I was honest. I’m sorry for all your feelings of discomfort and sadness. I never wanted to.”
