Colorgate, based in Hanover, Germany, has strengthened the board with Daniel Hummel. He became the Chief Technical Officer of the Provider of Digital Inkjet Printing Software, Workflow Solutions, Measuring Equipment and Consumer Goods.
Hummel will be responsible for research and development and ColorGATE’s technical vision. “Industrial digital printing is a new field for me, and I hope to develop new ideas with a new perspective – not just for Colorgate, but for RIP and color management technology as a whole,” Hummel said.
Growing steadily

After graduation, Hummel began as a consultant at a Hanover-based IT company, where he developed sophisticated IT systems for clients. He then headed the development department for the California software vendor in New Zealand. Most recently, Hummel held leadership development positions at Comisto Ripley GmbH.
