Earlier this week it was announced that K3’s Marthy had contracted the coronavirus. And that’s a bad thing because tonight’s K2 final is looking for K3. And so it can’t be there, or at least not quite.

Yesterday, Gert Verholst spoke of a “contingency plan” to allow Marthy to attend. That contingency plan became a video call. In the digital age where everyone has to make video calls every day, it just doesn’t make sense. “I think it’s horrible to miss,” Marthy said at the start of the show. But she does not feel ill and talks about happiness. When she was told that she looked good despite her infection, she cheerfully replied that it was because of the makeup.

It was also made clear to viewers that Martha is already at home, as stipulated by the rules for the diadem. The black background, this is just a Marathi pleated curtain.

Who would have thought that Martha would only watch tonight, is wrong by the way. Because even if she is at home secluded, she will also sing.

Meanwhile, the first dropouts are also known. Didi was the first to leave the match on Saturday night. She burst into tears but was able to count on a standing ovation from the audience.

Secondly, it was Celeste who had to leave the show. The selection was ultimately made by Gert Verholst because he was the last to announce his selection. So the Belgian Amy is still in the final.
