Andersen has been appointed Sweden’s prime minister for the second time, having resigned just a few hours later last week

Anderson herself indicated she could live with the opposition proposal, but the Greens saw it differently. They did not want to have to implement what a radical right-wing party had decided either and left the government immediately.

Then Anderson had no choice but to resign, half a day after her appointment. She was not yet formally in office, for she would not have remained until she had made her vows to the king, and that would not happen until last Friday.

Anderson indicated in her resignation that she would make another attempt to hire her, which has now happened. Now that the Greens no longer want to deal with her, Anderson wants to form a minority government consisting only of her Social Democrats. It holds only 100 of the 349 seats.

The fact that no other majority was found has something to do with the progress of the Swedish Democrats. As a result, neither the center-left nor the center-right has a majority in Parliament. It certainly won’t be easy for Anderson, especially since she now has to implement a budget that has been set in large part by the opposition.
