Actor Nicolas Cage (57) again got a major movie role. The actor will soon take on the role of the famous vampire “Dracula” in the monster movie “Renfield”. Renfield is played by Nicholas Hoult (31 years old).
The new “Renfield” movie looks like a Nikola vs Nikola- to become a movie. Both actors will get a role in it and may even compete against each other. The movie is directed by Chris McKay, but the makers of the movie haven’t yet looked at their cards and are revealing little. “It’s going to be a contemporary adventure with a comedic touch,” it seems. The film is said to be in the testing phase and will be released in April 2022.
Cage made his first lines as an actor in the ’80s with classics like Moonstruck and Raising Arizona. In 1995 he won an Oscar for his famous movie Leaving Las Vegas. With this film, Cage became one of the biggest movie stars in the world. He went on to star in other films such as The Rock, Con Air, and National Treasure. He earned a second Academy Award nomination for his performance in 2002’s “Adaptation.” The actor says he’d be “so excited” to play Dracula in “Renfield.”
The story is based on a novel by Robert Kirkman. It is not yet known if the movie will also be shown with us soon.
