Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC Gets New Ads

The first 8 tracks will be released in less than a month.

While Mario Kart 9 wasn’t announced during the recent Nintendo Direct, new DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was announced. This downloadable content will include a total of 48 new courses from multiple old Mario Kart games. However, these clips will not be released all at once, but will be distributed until the end of 2023.

The first set of Arcades will launch on March 18th and will contain no less than 2 new 8-lane cups. The Golden Sprint Cup will include the Paris-Promenade (Mario Kart Tour), Toads Circuit (Mario Kart 7) and Chocokloof (Mario Kart 64) and Coconut Plaza (Mario Kart Wii) tracks. The Lucky Cat Cup will include the Tokyo Track (Mario Kart Tour), Mushroom Pass (Mario Kart DS), Wolkenhof (Mario Kart: Super Circuit) and Ninja School (Mario Kart Tour).

The full expansion will be sold separately for $24.99. If you have subscribed to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership, this new DLC is already included. Nintendo has also released a new commercial for this new downloadable content, which you can find below.
