Peugeot’s Stellantis is set to launch an all-electric version of the 308 SW this year or next. This electric version should also come from the Opel Astra Sports Tourer. These two cars use the same platform.
Stellantis, the parent company of Peugeot and Opel, among others, Announces annual results That many brands will launch electric models until 2023. There will be two all-electric cars, the Fiat and Jeep. Stylantis does not provide further details. The company only says it is for passenger cars.
However, both Peugeot and Opel are talking about all-electric SW cars. These are station wagon versions. I have a Peugeot 308 SW and an Opel Astra Sports Tourer. Opel already has Said on AutoWeek To create an all-electric version of the Astra and Astra Sports Tourer by 2023.
Technical details are not yet known. Fossil versions of both cars now use the EMP2 platform. This is now used to make other electric vehicles, such as delivery trucks. These trucks have a 50 or 75 kWh battery and an electric motor that generates 100 kW, or 136 hp, and 260 Nm.
The two Stellantis models will not be the first fully electric station wagons in the Netherlands. As of March, MG . will deliver 5 electricity in the NetherlandsIt costs 33,985 euros and has a range of 320 km. For 3000 euros more, there is also a version that can drive 400 km according to the WLTP standard.
